DESCRIPTION:Day 1 - Review 2017 and Selected Competition Problems After a
  review of the developments in EU competition law in 2017 we will have a
  closer look at selected competition law topics. This will cover trends 
 in consumer protection\, vertical restraints in the online world\, the i
 mplementation of the Damages Directive and algorithms and collusion. Exp
 erienced practitioners from competition authorities and academia will di
 scuss the topics with the GVH staff. Day 2 – Trainings for Special Group
 s of Staff In separate sessions we will provide dedicated trainings and 
 lectures for the merger section\, the antitrust section\, the economics 
 section\, the consumer protection section and the Competition Council of
  the GVH.
