DESCRIPTION:Remedies and commitments will often be the proportionate solu
 tion to competition problems in merger as well as abuse of dominance cas
 es. We will explore the use of structural and behavioural remedies and c
 ommitments. What are adequate solutions if a structural remedy is not po
 ssible\, and how can we avoid price caps or behavioural measures that ar
 e hard to monitor and enforce? The seminar will encourage an exchange of
  experiences between the participants and aims to enrich the agencies’ r
 emedy toolboxes with the help of expert practitioners and in practical e
 xercises.
